The University of Poitiers provides its students, teachers and staff with collaborative and innovative workspaces to encourage formal and informal exchange.
Tried and tested on the different University campuses, Com’on Spaces are areas open to everyone to work alone or in groups, to exchange ideas or to relax. These spaces have scalable and modular furniture which allows each space to be adapted to different uses.
Some Com’on Spaces also have specific equipment: Fab Lab equipment, specific software, tablets, e-books, audiovisual material etc.
These type of learning spaces promote collaborative work between users (students, staff and teachers) while providing a comfortable and welcoming environment.
